When Contemporary Art Goes to The Laundry... [Updated]*



... Or The Shape We're In!



This used to be one of our local launderettes. Then, be it because of the crisis or some other reason, at some point in the last few months it became just some sort of 'premises to let to whoever and for whatever' - the "happenings" there just keep changing all the time...



So, I wasn't supposed to be surprised at what just appeared there a couple of weeks ago... but... I was!


Covering the full front window, it just happened to us, everyday passers-by, this piece of contemporary art by Tracey Emin...


So, that's the shape we're in, I guess...
